- A pathway for Limonene has been added. This pathway includes
contributions from a student in our 2000 Biocatalysis and
  Biodegradation class.

- The IUBMB Enzyme Nomenclature website now links back to UM-BBD
enzyme entries. For example, in the section for the enzyme subgroup
1.14.12, most members of that subgroup have links to the UM-BBD.

- All 643 UM-BBD compound pages were reviewed and an additional 78
links to molecular model and other information were added. A list
of all compounds in alphabetical order is available.

- Recent review: Wedin, R. (2000) "Review: The University of Minnesota
  Biocatalysis/Biodegradation Database" Chemistry, Fall 2000,
American Chemical Society, p. 6. This and other reviews are available
  on the UM-BBD publication page.

- Recent publication: Ellis, L.B.M., Hershberger, C.D., Bryan, E.M. and
Wackett, L.P. (2001) "The University of Minnesota Biocatalysis/
Biodegradation Database: Emphasizing Enzymes" Nucleic Acids Research
29: 340-343. The full text of this paper in .pdf format is available
on the UM-BBD main menu and the publications page. Use this paper or

- The policy of the UM-BBD has always been to respect the privacy of
all its web site visitors to the extent permitted by law. This policy
is now explicitly listed on a Privacy Policy page.

- On the Useful Internet Resources page, links have been added for
Yeast Genome Pathways from MIPS, Germany, and Bacterial Biodegradation
Of High Molecular Weight Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons, Aitken,
et al. Spring 1997, ESE NOTES, University of North Carolina, and
links have been updated for the Bioremediation Discussion Group,
the Search of the National Toxicology Program website, and OSHA
Chemical Sampling Information. The WIT resource from Integrated
  Genomics was renamed ERGO.
