I second Phil's comment about using geolocation. For bus schedules, it
seems like a better solution if it is possible for you to implement.
In addition to what's already been mentioned, there would be less
overhead involved for you in maintaining the code at each bus stop. QR
technology is neat, but in our department's experience the codes often
go unused.
