Hello AMSA members,I wanted to call your attention to the fact that this
Thursday the 18th, medicine grand rounds is focused on health care reform
and the possibility of a single-payer system. The speaker is Dr. Oliver
Fein, president of the national Physicians for a National Health Program
organization. He's an internal medicine physician with years of health
policy experience.

Directly after grand rounds in the same room (PWB 2-470) there will be a
medical student event with Dr. Fein where he hopes to discuss health care
reform with students. It's a great opportunity to talk with someone involved
with health policy on a national level and get your questions answered about
single-payer and other reform proposals. It should be really interesting and
I encourage everyone to go! And grand rounds provides food of course!
