Subject: [hhr] World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day is December 1st, and there are a few exciting=20
events/activities that you should know about!

1) November 26 National Call-In Day and DC Demonstration to support the=20
Presidential AIDS Initiative. In January 2003, President Bush will be=20
touring Africa. We are asking him to bring something meaningful on this=20
trip: real support for people living with AIDS. The PAI has three=20
essential components:=20

   Ensuring access to affordable medication;=20
   Ensuring prevention services and support for affected communities;=20
and=20
   Ensuring adequate financial resources=20

For more information on the activities for November 26 and the=20
Presidential AIDS Initiative, go to http://www.healthgap.org/WAD.html

2) PHR's GLOBAL AIDS ACTION QUILT

"a symbolic visual display of health professionals' call to action,=20
which will be used at future press, medical, and Yahoo! Web Hosting - =
