Hello and welcome to the Emergency Medicine Interest Group! 

We will be holding our first event of the year next week on Tuesday Oct. 27th from 5pm-
9pm. This will be a skills workshop where we will have the opportunity to work with 
emergency medicine residents and faculty from HCMC and Regions, and learn skills like:

*Intubation
*IVs
*Suturing
*Ultrasound
*Radiology interpretation 
*And more!

The cost is $10 and this will get you dinner and a chance to learn about and practice all 
the above skills. The event will take place in the medical school's SimPORTAL on the the 
5th floor of the mayo building.

To ensure that all participants gets adequate time and practice, space is limited. Please
