Dear CORD Colleagues,

We would like to announce that we are currently recruiting for our inaugural
class of residents at the University of Washington Emergency Medicine
Residency Program.

As many of you know, we have already gone through our ACGME site visit and
are awaiting notification of our accreditation status. We will be notified of
our status in mid-February, in time for us to participate in the NRMP.

The University of Washington Emergency Medicine Residency will be a four-
year program with a strong emphasis on critical care and pediatrics. There
are four educationally distinct and clinically excellent hospitals that compose
our clinical training sites within the Seattle area. We have a stellar
emergency medicine faculty with expertise in ultrasound, pediatrics, EMS,
ethics, research, and more.

We would be greatly appreciative if you would share this information, along
with the attached flyer, with any interested medical students. For any
questions regarding the residency or the application process (we are not listed
on ERAS), please encourage them to contact either Fiona Gallahue at
[log in to unmask], or Samantha Groom (Program Manager) at [log in to unmask]
Further information about our residency is available on our website:
