an extraordinary contribution to scholarship and service that promotes

intended to advance the careers of younger scholars, and will be
awarded to the best manuscript based on a presentation at one of the
two previous ISHPSSB meetings by someone who was, at the time of

Conference in the Philosophy of Science, 1-3 March 2017. Papers are
invited on any aspect of scientific study of complexity, including
philosophical, sociological and psychological studies of complex
systems science, and on the policy implications of complex systems

February - 1 March 2017, University of Sydney. This intensive course
provides an opportunity for advanced students and early career

Organisms," the annual MBL-ASU History of Biology Seminar, 17-24 May
2017, Woods Hole, MA, USA . The seminar will look at the history of
engineering life by bringing together a mix of historians,
philosophers, social scientists, and biologists for a lively and
intense week of presentations, discussions, and explorations.
