Reminder: CFP for ISHPSSB 2011
Moderator's note: Although you've probably seen our previous CFPs,
please note that the instructions below address some frequently asked
questions about the submission process that may not have been
apparent before.
The deadline for submitting proposals for ISHPSSB 2011 in Salt Lake
City is February 28.
For complete meeting details, go to:
Because we are using a single system that handles both the abstract
submissions and the registration, you'll need to actually start (but
not necessarily finish) registering for the conference. As you do
so, you'll be given the opportunity to submit an abstract for a paper
or poster, or papers for a session that you are organizing.
There are no guidelines given for submission of abstracts. It is
entirely open-ended so as to allow for the many different
disciplinary norms represented by ISHPSSB. A paragraph of 4-6
sentences describing your talk would be plenty, but feel free to make
it longer if you need/want it to be--the system will accept up to
2000 characters. A longer or a shorter abstract will not increase or
decrease your chances of it being accepted. However, if you are
submitting a stand alone paper (rather than a session) a more
detailed abstract will make it easier for us to fit it into the
appropriate session.

session, visit the ISHPSSB Bulletin Board for session and paper ideas:
