2013 is the joint annual meeting of the Society for the Study of Evolution,
the Society of Systematic Biologists, and the American Society of
Naturalists. Deadline for submissions and for early registration is 19
April 2013.

2. Call for Abstracts/Papers: "Measurement across the Sciences," University
of Colorado at Boulder, 1-3 November 2013. We invite submissions on any
topic related to historical or philosophical aspects of scientific
measurement. Faculty interested in presenting are invited to submit an
abstract of roughly 500 words, while graduate students are invited to
submit full papers of roughly 3000-4000 words. Deadline: 30 June 2013.
