POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOW:

The University of Adelaide is seeking candidates for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow opportunity, on a new NHMRC Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) grant through the ELSI (ethical, legal, and social issues) stream of the 2020 Stem Cell Therapies Mission. The successful candidate will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on a project entitled “Developing an Evidence–Based Model for Building Trust in Australian Stem Cell Research and Therapies,” led by Prof Rachel A. Ankeny.

Position Description: The Department of History of Science seeks to appoint a tenure-track Assistant Professor or tenure-track Associate Professor in the History of the Modern Life Sciences, broadly construed. Applicants with interests in the history of Race and Ethnicity in the Life Sciences are encouraged to apply. Candidates should have a strong scholarly record and teaching experience, or show promise of excellence in academic research, publications, and teaching. The position involves undergraduate and graduate teaching, as well as advising graduate students at M.A. and Ph.D. levels. The appointment is expected to begin on 1 July 2022.

At least one letter must come from someone who has not served as the candidate’s undergraduate, graduate, or postdoctoral advisor.
