This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Monday November 10th, 2014.

On the 10th, Karl Bardon discovered two immature COMMON EIDERS on Lake
Superior in east Duluth. The birds were originally at Brighton Beach
near the Lester River, but have been moving down shore toward Duluth for
most of the day.

An adult MEW GULL was seen on the south side of Lake Calhoun in
Minneapolis on the 8th, and though it was also seen briefly at nearby
Lake Harriet early on the 9th, it has not been seen since.

A RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD has been visiting a feeder in the
Macalester-Groveland neighborhood of St. Paul, Ramsey County since the
8th. Check the front yard feeders at 2024 Fairmount Avenue.

The next scheduled update is Thursday November 20th, 2014.
