I found three snowy owls in their western Dodge Co. wintering grounds around sunset yesterday. One east of 150th Ave. north of 700th St. The second south of 690th and east of 120th. The third on a utility pole on 685th St.

All these owls were females. The two nearly pure white males seen in early December have not been seen recently.
