On Tuesday, 12/16/08, about 2:00 p.m., my daughter and I were able to see the Snowy Owl on Cargo Road just east of the first tunnel, sitting on one of the light fixtures across the road from the Glycol plant. The bird offered excellent looks. It was heavily barred, very alert.
