A friend of mine was walking her dog along the levy in front of the HUGE Bay State grain elevator, and flushed an imm/female Snowy Owl this morning. I just got back from confirming, and it is still there. Drive to the end of Kansas St. Walk up to the levy and look to your left. It was sitting on the short pier about 200 yds. upriver (in front of the Bay State property) from the end of Kansas St. You are welcome to walk much of this levy but there are areas that are inaccessible.
