This morning, my wife Kari and I had a few hours to spend at Park Point and
saw some decent birds.

We were very surprised to find a Ross's Goose amongst the Canada Geese at
the bus turnaround. Farther up at the access near the park (the one with
the bathroom building that's always locked...) there was a Willet and a
Dunlin. We saw 2 Red-throated Loons on the lakeside--I'm pretty sure we
accessed at 22nd or pretty close to there. (I don't have all the access
points memorized.)

Warblers were not very abundant, a number of Common Terns were present, and
a raft of Red-breasted Mergansers had a Red-necked Grebe associating with
them.
