This morning I watched eight drake long-tailed ducks flying around Marsh Lake (on east side of lake, between Appleton and Correll). They eventually landed in open water (out of site) on the back side of one of the pelican nesting islands. Lots of other waterfowl to be seen (as well as gulls, pelicans and raptors).

Cara Greger - DNR Parks staff - reported seeing three Plegadis sp. They were in a flooded residential lawn immediately off the north side of MN Hwy 12, in the NW corner of Danvers (city).
