At 11:40 am this morning I found an adult male Varied Thrush at Lake Louise State Park. It was standing in the road that leads to the picnic grounds about 100 yards from the turnoff. I managed to walk up to within 15 yards from it and got to observe it for a couple of minutes before a vehicle came along and it flushed into the woods. Was not able to relocate it.
