At 9:00 a.m. this morning, there were two snowy owls along CR 17, north of
Big Lake. From Hwy. 10 north of Big Lake, turn west/south on CR 17
(there's a light at this intersection), and both of the birds were about
1/2 mile in, one sitting on a power pole, the other sitting on a wood pile.

I searched a good chunk of north central and northwest Benton County for
snowy owls yesterday, without success. But I'm not giving up!
