The Black-headed Gull was seen along the grade (Iowa/MN border) earlier this
summer but has been MIA until recently.
It was recently reported near Crandall's Beach (Iowa), not even a mile into
Iowa from Minnesota.

I'm going to have to look for it again soon. I have been looking every day
this fall - my luck it has flown over my house numerous times with the other
hundreds of Franklin's and Ring-billed Gulls this fall.

I'll report it if I see it anywhere near the MN border.

P.S. - Hello Linda!
