A sub-adult male Harlequin was seen this morning on the bay side of Park Point at both 19th street just north of Hearding Island and at the 43rd street bus turn around just north of the recreation area. This is presumably the same individual which had been seen last week and previously.

Five Red-thr Loons also present on the lake side of Park Point south of the 12th street access. This species had also been seen by others at Park Point several times earlier this month.

And a probable group of Whimbrels was seen distantly and very briefly on the sand bar on the back side of Hearding Island but they disappeared before a positive ID could be made. This species has also been reported in Duluth a few times earlier in May.
