A singing male Cerulean Warbler was seen today along the "Historic Old Indian Trail" at Tamarac NWR.  The entrance to this trail is located along Becker county road 29 about 1.5 miles south of the refuge headquarters. The bird was seen at 11:30am and again at 1:00pm in the same area about a 5 minute walk from the parking spaces. 

Also, 23 warbler species were seen in the refuge today simply by birding along county road 29. Redstart, Black-and-white and Golden-winged were most abundant.
