This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Wednesday May 30th, 2012.

On the 24th, there was a report of a SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHER just
north of Kelliher in Beltrami County, but I have no further details.

Eight RED-THROATED LOONS were in Duluth on the 28th, at the Lafayette
Square viewing platform of Park Point, and six WHIMBREL were at the 22nd
Street public access. On the same day, a WHIMBREL was seen near
Vermillion, Dakota County, the junction of Goodwin Avenue and 210th
Street.

Joe Conley reported a COMMON GALLINULE at the Sherburne NWR in Sherburne
County on the 26th. It was near the water control structure at Big
Bluestem Pool.

A few CHESTNUT-COLLARED LONGSPURS were at the Felton Prairie in Clay
County on the 26th, including a female on a nest.

And Kim Eckert found BLUE GROSBEAKS at Blue Mounds State Park in Rock
County on the 27th.

The next scheduled update of this tape is Thursday June 7th, 2012.
