4 Trumpeter Swans arrived on Silver Lake in Virginia today.  There are also 2 pair of Northern Shovelers.  
There is also one duck I couldn't ID - solid medium brown, head is greenish black, green bill.  A lot bigger than the Mallards.  He's staying near a Mallard female.  Maybe a Mallard x Black Duck cross?
