On our way to a BB game in Paynesville, and of course looping through country Frank Gosiak and I sighted a Snowy Owl south of Greenwald along CR4. It was on top of a large metal grain storage bin, west side of the road ~1-2 mile or so south of the CR31/CR4 intersection (Spring Hill Twnshp). Earlier, some Horned Larks and an American Kestrel. Before arrival to Paynesville near the bypass Hwy55/CR 4 interchange a silhouetted Great Horned Owl in the orange gloss of sundown. Pretty nice way to journey, yet get to see students of ours play sports. mjb
