I only watched it for one cycle.  It fed for 30 minutes or so and did not emigrate to Wisconsin that time.

How often does the bird feed (and fly)?  Has anyone noticed a pattern of resting and feeding?  I would love to see this bird in both MN and WI and am curious if there is a best time when it might be seen actively flying and therefore potentially straying across the middle of the river.

Any observation information with time would be appreciated.
