The Lewis's woodpecker that has been visiting the feeders of Janet
Anderson in Roosevelt in Roseau County is still there as of this

neighborhood most often the next house across the road in Lake of the
Woods County. Please do not park in anyone's yard as the feeders can all
be seen from the road.

in Dorset, and a northern shrike on November 26. Bald eagle and
trumpeter swans are being seen daily there.

In Polk County, an adult male snowy owl was seen on November 18 on the
railroad tracks on MN 9 south of Crookston.Sandy Aubol reported that a
northern cardinal had reappeared at her feeders in East Grand Forks on
November 24 after a long absence. Other species seen there included
cedar waxwings and purple finch on November 25. Leon Thoreson reported a
northern shrike on November 23 at his place near Climax.

3 and Polk CR 21 on November 26.
