Had an early Eastern Meadowlark around our home this morning (southern Mille
Lacs County); believe this is the third time in the last five years we've
had a meadowlark in early March.

This bird may have been present for as much as a week, but we didn't get a
confirming look until this morning (starlings are decent meadowlark mimics).

The Varied Thrush in Zimmerman was also present this morning.

No signs of RW Blackbirds, S. Cranes or E. Bluebirds in Sherburne Refuge
yet....

Good birding to all!
