Thursday evening, April 23, there were 7 American Avocets near the west end of Lake Byllesby.  Thanks to Jim for getting out the report of their presence so quickly.  While there, most of the shorebirds got up into the winds and off the points unknown. (The Avocets stayed.)

1 Semipalmated Sandpiper

Many Pectoral Sandpipers

Several Dunlins

Many Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs

1 Peregrine Falcon sitting way out on the mud

1 Barn Swallow
