This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Thursday September 25th, 2014.

The RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD first reported from Le Sueur County on the 15th
is still being seen. It is visiting the Nesgoda yard in the town of Le
Sueur at 30627 Pumpkin Hill Road.

Mike Hendrickson found a LONG-TAILED JAEGER on the 25th at the far end
of Park Point in Duluth. Also in the area were two PARASITIC JAEGERS.

A ROSS'S GOOSE was at the golf course in Two Harbors, Lake County on the
21st. And a TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE was seen breifly in Cloquet, Carlton
County, earlier this week, but the report was cut off and I have no
further details. Other southbound migrants recently reported include
SNOW GOOSE, CACKLING GOOSE, GOLDEN EAGLE, AMERICAN PIPIT, WHITE-CROWNED
SPARROW, and HARRIS'S SPARROW.

The next scheduled update is Thursday October 2nd, 2014.
