Traveling east on 180th St  today toward the 180th Street Marsh near
Vermillion in Dakota County we saw a Loggerhead Shrike.  The bird was
perched on the high line 2 telephone poles east of the house at 5990 180th
St. E. (the house is on the south side of the road)  The location is
approximately 1.9 miles east of Highway 52, six tenths of a mile after the
intersection of Emory and 180th.   The bird was seen at 12:30 pm on
Tuesday, May 10.
