The TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE along Oakley Street near 47th Avenue East in
east Duluth was still present on the 24th. BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS were also

The most recent reports of BOREAL OWLS that I'm aware of were on the
23rd in Congdon Park in east Duluth, and on the 24th on the 100 block of
3rd Avenue in Two Harbors. A SNOWY OWL was seen on the 27th in the
railroad yards in Two Harbors, west of the west end of 1st Avenue.
Martin Reid found a NORTHERN HAWK OWL in the Sax-Zim Bog on the 27th
along the Admiral Road, a half mile north of the Cranberry Road. Other
sightings have been along the Stone Lake Road, and along CR 7 about a
mile north of the Sax Road. GREAT GRAY OWLS are being seen throughout
northeastern Minnesota, especially along the North Shore.
