Hi.
I enjoyed watching a flock of 40 Hudsonian Godwits fly into the Lincoln WPA southwest of Lake Crystal shortly after noon today. They were quite a beautiful sight. Also present are American Golden-plovers, Pectoral Sandpipers and both yellowlegs. Thanks to Chad and Bob for their previous reports from this spot.
Earlier I observed a very cooperative Le Conte's Sparrow at the WMA north of Nicollet.
