80-100 Long-tailed Ducks at Brighton Beach right now. Noisy with their nasally call...Courting. Several males. Some even at relatively close range (fill a scope view)
Karl Bardon and Jane had over 800 along the North Shore a few days ago. Ice could blow back in tomorrow and Friday.
Where did these guys winter? ...Since Lk Superior 95-100% frozen over this winter.
