Hello:

Minnesota has now 294 reported Snowy Owl locations in Minnesota. We need 6
more to get to 300 Snowy Owls in Minnesota for the 2013-14 winter season.

Thank you all for the wonderful reports!

Map:
https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=215779442560997336854.0004ee2b1fd714d205220&msa=0

I noticed after all these months that there were comments on the map. I
was not paying attention nor noticed that people ask some questions about
the map. No you cannot add a owl location to the map and if you reply to me
on this email and give me the location of the snowy owl then I can add your
owl location to the map.

Thanks and enjoy.

PS: This map is for everyone to enjoy and I have gotten a lot of
compliments on the Snowy Owl map. Many family group brought relatives and
other family members to see their first Snowy Owl using the map as a
guide. Other people feel this is a bad idea because it brings a lot of
attention to the owls from the public. I trust everyone is mature enough
to police themselves and have respect for the Snowy Owls. I guess I put a
lot faith in people and sharing is part of the joy of birding at least that
is what I am told.

Good day.

Mike
