> Subject: Possible Mississippi Kite
>

> This is not a hundred percent certain more of heads up. There was a kite flying down the Mississippi River in Elk River just as I was driving across the 101 bridge. It headed up the river flying in a northwest direction. The Id was not based on the river as ironic as that is. I first saw that it was definitely kite flight behavior. It had a white base body with contrasting white and black wings. The wings appeared swept forward slightly. The tail was black and long but triangle in shape. Like I said not a hundred percent certain but let people know that there is kite heading up the river. I have had experience with this species down south which is leading me toward Mississippi Kite.
