Hi,

There were three adult female Red-necked Phalaropes at the Sleepy Eye sewage ponds today. All were in breeding plumage, but two were showing some molting. This would appear to be a pretty early fall arrival date for Minnesota.

Good birding,

Brian Smith
Sleepy Eye
