140th St. Dakota County 8:15 p.m. Saturday, July 9th After waiting
for half an hour, during which time two eastern kingbirds sat at the
top of the tallest tree (location of 2011 bird), two birds flew in together,
very briefly sat. Rich light orange brown chest and two broad rusty wing
bars. Never got good look at bill, but my initial response was, "now
that's different bird." Both birds then dove into a tree about 50
yards east of their perch.
