The Common Eider at Bayside Park in Silver Bay was still present
yesterday afternoon (11/14) through 2:50 p.m. Susan and I were unable to
find it after 1/2 hour of searching but eventually we located it hugging
the shoreline about 150 yards south of the observation platform, where
it was often hidden behind rocks and trees. Thanks to Bob Meyers and Jim
Lind for reporting this.

Bruce Fall, Minneapolis
