The adult Lesser Black-backed Gull was on the ice shelf close to South
Harriet Beach on Lake Harriet, Minneapolis at 3:45 this afternoon (present
when I arrived).
The Townsend's Solitaire at Carpenter Nature Center, Washington County,
was calling and singing from the treetops near the first bench south of
the river overlook at noon today.
The American White Pelican at Point Douglas Park was swimming and caught
two 10" fish while I observed it around 11:00 this morning.

Doug Kieser
Minneapolis
