This morning I observed 3 Surf Scoters on Lake Harriet in Minneapolis,
Hennepin County.  I enjoyed watching the tight knit trio at rest, splash
and preen and take short flights around the lake.  They favored the center
of the lake and a scope would be needed to observe the specific field mark
details at that distance.  They were still present when I left the area.
