Two Townsend's Solitaires at Ann Lake/Sand Dunes in Sherburne County this
morning. Did not relocate the reported crossbills.

Birded Friday in Aitkin County - Northern Hawk Owl on 18 - numerous
White-winged Crossbills on the trail opposite 320th/Pietz Road - few
redpolls & Snow Buntings - 1500 Tundra Swans at Rice Lake.

Still had 98 Sandhill Cranes as I drove towards Sherburne Refuge this
morning, touch late?

Al Schirmacher
Princeton, MN
Mille Lacs & Sherburne Counties
