Judy Chucker and I braved the heat and insects to bird this morning in
Murphy-Han.  Although we played the song in the suggested spot, no Hooded
Warbler appeared.

Several Henslow's Sparrows were singing and occasionally showing themselves
in the wet prairie grass.  The loon family seemed content and busy on the
lake.  The loon chick is becoming a nice brown color.
