The Summer Tanager reported from Carpenter Nature Center, this week. Was
refound today and observed near the East end of the building next to the
visitor center and in the coniferous trees just South of this building. The
bird was observed at these locations around 10:30 am.

Also of interest near by, was a small group on Cackling Geese observed at
Point Douglas Park. They were mixed in with the 100s of Canada Geese and
fairly close to shore.
