Saturday AM (sorry for the delayed post) - Red-throated Loon, Garrison (big
fish) pull off along 169 - they seem to have become fall annuals on the west
side of Mille Lacs Lake.

Other birds of interest along the lake and in Kathio State Park include a
Franklin's Gull, Philadelphia Vireo, first Orange-crowned Warbler and
White-crowned Sparrows of the fall, Rusty Blackbirds. Only five warblers
total.

Blue Hill Trail, Sherburne NWR was quiet this morning. However, between
Mille Lacs & Blue Hill, 10-11 sparrows total (depending upon how you view
towhees). No Harris' or Tree yet.
