At the N. Ottawa impoundment in Grant County, Ron Taube found WILSON'S
PHALAROPE, WESTERN GREBE, AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN, DOUBLE-CRESTED
CORMORANT, SPOTTED SANDPIPER, GREAT EGRET, GREAT BLUE HERON, and
BOBOLINKS on June 8. On June 12, Wayne Perala found a WHITE-FACED IBIS,
and three STILT SANDPIPERS there.

At the Grotto Lake rookery in Fergus Falls , Otter Tail County, there
was much activity with nestling GREAT EGRETS, and young or nests of
DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANTS, and BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT-HERONS. Also in
Fergus Falls, there were GREEN HERONS, RED-EYED VIREOS, and INDIGO
BUNTINGS. BOBOLINKS were seen in the Orwell Dam area, and CEDAR WAXWINGS
were reported from Pelican Rapids. James McCoy reported a NORTHERN
PARULA on June 12 at Maplewood State Park. HORNED GREBES were seen along
CR 15 near Fergus Falls.

Dan Mason observed a WILSON'S WARBLER in Clay County at the Viking ship
part in Moorhead on June 12.

An AMERICAN AVOCET was found by Bob Dunlap at the rice paddies in the
far northeastern part of Red Lake County on June 9.

Here in Pennington County, a BLACK-BILLED CUCKOO came through our yard,
and this morning a RED-HEADED WOODPECKER was seen flying through.

A WILLET was observed at the Agassiz Valley Impoundment in Marshall
County by Sandy Aubol on June 9.
