This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Thursday March 7th, 2013.

On March 4th, a female BARROW'S GOLDENEYE was reported at Stoney Point
of Lake Superior in eastern St. Louis County.

In Minneapolis, that TOWNSEND'S SOLITAIRE was seen again on the 7th at
St. Mary's Cemetery. It being found in different locations, mostly at
the southern edge of the cemetery.

On the 4th, Dick Smaby reported a VARIED THRUSH just west of the
intersection of 12th Avenue and 20th Street NE in Austin, Mower County.

The few new spring migrant reports that have come in over the past week
include EARED GREBE, HORNED GREBE, NORTHERN SAW-WHET OWL, HARRIS'S
SPARROW, and SNOW BUNTING.
