This is the Minnesota Birding Report for Thursday, September 3rd 2009.

A juvenile LITTLE BLUE HERON is still being seen at Turtle Lake County
Park in Shoreview, Ramsey County. Check near the boat launch on the
southeastern shore of Turtle Lake along Hodgson Road about a mile south
of county road I.

Southbound migrants include LONG-BILLED DOWITCHER, BONAPARTE'S GULL,
RUBY-THROATED HUMMINGBIRD, YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER, SWAINSON'S THRUSH,
BLACKBURNIAN WARBLER, BLACKPOLL WARBLER, WILSON'S WARBLER, and DARK-EYED
JUNCO.
