Research Scientist, American Museum of Natural History
The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences seeks a Ph.D. Research
Scientist whose primary responsibility will be to manage the SX100
microprobe and FTIR labs. The successful applicant will oversee replacement
of the existing SX100 with a Cameca SX5 Tactis LaB6 instrument in 2019. The
successful applicant will be expected to maintain a vigorous research
program in an area that complements existing strengths in EPS. The position
also requires good organization, facility with analytical equipment, and
ability to interact well with lab users. The EPS Department provides unique
