*As a Geologist within the Central Mineral & Environmental Science Center,
some of your specific duties will include: *
- Operate, monitor and maintain the electron microprobe, scanning
electron microscope, ion mill and peripheral equipment for efficiency of
operation, and troubleshoots and repairs minor problem for optimum
performance.
- Writes interpretive reports based on geological and geochemical data
for professional review.
- Maintain a professional level of awareness and understanding of the
latest state-of-the-art techniques, instrumentation, and applicable
technology.
