Good afternoon,

The Congestion Pricing Committee (ABE20) will be partnering with the Managed Lanes Committee (AHB35), the Regional Transportation Systems Management & Operations Committee  (AHB10) and the  Freeway Operations Committee (AHB20) to conduct a workshop at the 2015 TRB Annual Meeting. The workshop will focus on the opportunities and challenges of combining multiple operational strategies within one corridor and in a regional network. Questions that will be explored include:


*         How can managed lanes (priced and unpriced), TDM, ITS, Active Traffic Management, and related emerging technologies work together to maximize overall corridor performance?

*         How are these corridors managed with multiple jurisdictions involved in their operations. Hear from those who have been there with lessons learned.

We are currently looking for volunteers from the Congestion Pricing Committee to serve on the planning committee for this workshop. We have a couple of volunteers already but could use additional ones to round out our committee's representation.

The first meeting of the planning committee is scheduled for this Friday, September 5 at 2:00 PM Central. (My apologies for the late notice). If you would like to serve on the planning committee as a representative of ABE20 please contact me directly.
